HAPPY *GET COZY* WEEKEND...

October is my favorite month for many reasons (birthdays being one of them!) but mostly because I love the slight change in seasons before it gets too chilly around here to enjoy the outdoors...

I see a hint of blue sky, and the leaves are just starting to change, so I'm throwing on my fall coat and getting out there to enjoy my city. It's been too long since I've had a weekend at home! I hope to discover some new spots to share and enjoy... sometimes we forget to explore in our own backyards, and I'm way overdue for some wandering.

  6. It's funny that you mentioned exploring our own territory. That is exactly what the hub and I have been doing all day. It was a nice change.

  8. Fall is my favourite time of year too! I love the change in the air and the light changes. The leaves turn a beautiful colour and Fall mornings are lovely and fresh. I love to walk and this is the favourite time of my mine to walk through the countryside. I also love the clothes too. Getting the coat back out and buying new Fall and Winter clothes is exciting to me. I think your photos really capture the mood of this wonderful season.

  11. These photographs remind me of the scene in Anne of Green Gables in which Anne lays down in a canoe and begins reciting poetry. Wouldn't it be just lovely to float merrily along and escape the world just for a little while?
