FALL WALLS

I'm picking out paint colors today for a new client, and it's making me crave some fall colors on my own walls. Something that feels perfectly seasonal...

That gorgeous bluish gray has been a popular one for me lately. I just recommended it to a friend of mine for her kitchen, and I'm considering a darker version of it for my dining table. The lemongrass hue is also a stunner. I'm not sure how flattering a shade it would make for most living spaces, but it's so unique! And, I love how the olive green walls pair with the nude tones in the top room. Do you have a favorite, or have you tried any of these hues in your own home?

  2. Just pained our bedroom Terrapin Green (Benjamin Moore.) It's not quite as olive as you have here (more grass green). But we love it so far...now to get the trim done so we can move furniture back in!

I love the purple, too. Know what it is called?

  3. The mustard yellow room is my favorite for several reasons. The color is rich, the art work is displayed so intrestingly and the other pops of color really add to the whole feel of the space! Very nice.

  8. I loooooove that last color. I have my closet painted a similar hue. It's 'Grasshopper' by Behr. My husband is always complaining b/c I want to paint everything green. Right now though, all I have is my green closet.

I think I love all of these! I've been thinking about a dark blue for my living room with white trim but with dark brown leather sofas I'm scared they will be lost in the walls. Still trying to figure everything out lol ~jen

  16. My bedroom is the same purple as the picture shown AND we have a very similar navy quilt that I have struggled to style to my liking. In the picture, the bed is dressed with white sheets and pillows as well as light floors which helps to balance out the darkness of the wall/bedcover. Thanks for sharing these pics, very insipiring!
