RAINBOW ROUND THE TABLE...

In the latest decision concerning my next living space... I've decided that I absolutely must have colorful dining room chairs...

For a girl who can be a little shy of commitment, I think this is just enough of a pop of color that I won't regret saying "I do." And it adds so much fun to the space! Now the question remains... what color? I did a little dream browsing at 1st dibs last night to consider my options...
red orange yellow chairs coco+kelley
green blue purple chairs coco+kelley
I'm pretty sure the yellow are my favorite... but the style of the purple are so glam... and we all know I'm a green girl... Funny how I could design so many types of rooms around these chairs, and yet I'm drawn to each of them for different reasons. What are your faves?? What color would you go with?

  11. Oooo... The fan backed metal chairs with the dark, swampy teal seats. You could recover and recover and recover those babies until you die and they would never stop being STUNNING.

  18. They are all special in their own way, but I think the yellow louis chairs are the most adaptable to so many styles.

I have danish chairs that I upholstered in a denim-like fabric. I love them. A bit of color, but not too much. I have enough elsewhere in my apartment!

How exciting to be planning a new space :)

  20. My favorites are the yellow (no surprise as it's my favorite color), and I love the purple, especially with the chrome.

I need to add some color to my boring dining room table and plain white chairs, by adding some chairs with color for interest and these picks are a good starting point for my search!

  22. My vote goes to the green and white chairs in the 4th photo, and the blue ones in the 5th photo. The blues are reminiscent of a Tiffany blue, only brighter. It's lovely.

  23. Love the shape of the purple chairs especially but would reupholster them in the yellow or blue of your other selections. I'm purple challenged. Beautiful chairs all though!

love the plum chairs! It is amazing how a dark color like that can act as a neutral base too. The Yellow Louis XV Chairs are my next fave.

blair, the more i look at these the more i totally agree with you! but i'll still take my yellow for the 'formal' dining room... ;)

  28. these chairs and images are amazing, but, i agree, the ochre-yellow are my favorite, i think they would end up being the most versatile, depending what pieces you already own in your dining room.
