I'm having a color moment...
Rich blues paired with kelly green is a pretty preppy combo (as inspired by the J.Crew lookbook), but it doesn't have to mean preppy styling. I think I'm going to dig through my closet today to see how I might be able to pull this off in a totally different way (as inspired by the Moroccan tile). How would you wear it?

ReplyDeleteHave you noticed blue + green combos there are out there lately? If you just scroll through Pinterest - it's everywhere.

Very pretty combo, Cassandra! I'm envisioning a white men's button down, black cigarette pants, and a killer high heel sandal in kelly or blue. Maybe a green or blue turban or scarf in the hair to make it a bit more funky and tie the colors in. And a bold red lip for sure!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiring palette!
I love that tile treatment. So fun to see next to that great J. Crew picture!

I'm a huge navy and kelly green fan. I typically go for the bright kelly green (I think the green you featured is more of a forest green—at least to me) shorts and a navy t-shirt or sweater. Can't go wrong with a classic!
ReplyDeleteenza - i LOVE that idea!! i'm going to have to try that look!
ReplyDeleteLove the kelly and blue, and the red and turquoise in your previous post. Two refreshing combinations.
ReplyDeleteLove the colour! It's absolutely gorgeous!Great idea!
ReplyDeleteIt's "kelly capris" for me and a striped colbalt and white sweater...it's chilly here!! franki
ReplyDeleteI love those sparkly pants!
ReplyDeleteGreat color combination. I love this for Mother's day, we'll be eating outside. I've got the green with my yard, shade garden with lots of ferns and trees, now I just need the blue dress!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite colour combination!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love this combo! I'm fairly preppy down in my roots, but like it more in this bold, classic statement way than in a super sweet way. Kelly green and rich blue are my colors. Always.
