TREAT YO SELF

Life is always full of ups and downs, isn't it? One minute I'm in Iceland, the next I'm spending days and days crazy prepping for photo shoots and the next issue of Rue and vacation feels like it was months instead of weeks ago. On Monday, I had my last shoot, and on Tuesday? I went to the spaaaaa....

Becuase, really, we should all do these things for ourselves. And yes I know, life is busy, and finding the time is hard, and it's too expensive and blah blah blah. Well, guess what? You're out of excuses. Because next week is Spa Week - where spas around the country offer amazing treatments for only $50.

As a part of this week, I (along with two other blog friends, Megan and Dawn) got to experience one treatment of the Spa Week selections at the Penterra Spa in the Heathman Hotel in Kirkland. I went with a facial that included a microcurrent add-on treatment, and the entire visit was amazing.

They spoiled us by handing over the entire spa for our visit, and greeted us with wine and nibbles in the relaxation room. The facial itself was wonderful, of course. My aesthetician, Michelle, went through several layers of masks before using the NuFace micro-current treatment on my skin. It's kind of a miracle worker and I am seriously considering purchasing one! It gives an instant lift to skin... I don't know why I didn't do this before my photo shoot. Duh.

This treatment is usually around $150 with the micro-current add on, and is only $50 during Spa Week!
Seriously ladies, it's is time you go treat yourself with something amazing during the week! You can find a spa near you on the website to see what they're offering, and then you just call to reserve the treatment.

And, for those of you in the Seattle/Eastside area, I would highly recommend the Penterra Spa at the Heathman Hotel. Service is amazing and so are the selection of treatments! And, if you can't make it next week, then you're still in luck because they were sweet enough to offer my readers a little special (that I fully intend to take advantage of myself!).
