A SIMPLE SPRINKLING OF STYLE

This morning I'm off to style our photo shoot for The Everygirl (that you'll get to see in two weeks!) and I'm looking forward to putting together something a little over the top. It's been a while since I've had the opportunity to really do things up with a table! Weddings - compared to everyday entertaining - are a totally different thing, wouldn't you say? But with that in mind, I thought I'd share something on the opposite spectrum...
Because let's face it - when we're actually entertaining at home, we don't always have time to get elaborate with our tables. But on top of fresh flowers and candlelight, there's one more easy idea to add to the list...

Pretty and simple, some tone on tone confetti lends a chic playfulness to a table.
Did you notice how it kind of mimics the sprinkling of goat cheese on that salad? If you're really talented, I suppose you can match your confetti to your menu too!

  1. Definitely more chic, but I think I prefer colourful confetti. :)

Okay, I give up - why would anyone want confetti on a table? It would get stuck on bare arms, fall on the floor and end up all over the house or, worse still, eaten by a pet. This is one decorating idea I just don't get. Perhaps one of your readers could explain its purpose.

  10. What a cute idea - I have colour-matched confetti before, lots of hole punching but worth every bit when I saw the end result in shades of peach!
