Oh, what I wouldn't give to be a teenager again...
Probably the only time I could have been skinny enough, and silly enough, to be talked into this rockin' little outfit. But if we're talking about reality, I'd ditch those shorts and find a way to keep that flirty bow top...
Which maybe, on a really good day, could look something like this? I've been called ridiculous on numerous occasions for over-the-top bows, so it wouldn't be the first time I've attempted this look, but as a bustier? Never before. So, let me tone my tummy and get a rich summer tan and I'll get back to you on this.
What do you think? Could you rock it?

Not sure how I feel about this.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely looks cute in these pics, but in real life, seeing someone sporting this, I think I'd just stare...and not with admiration. :S

rock. it. but i think i'd only have the guts to do it on vaca!
ReplyDeleteHave to say I don't love it and I could never pull it off, not even when i was a teenager.
ReplyDeleteI think the idea is cute but the fulfillment of it should be reconsidered and adjusted
ReplyDeleteim not small enough to rock this trend but i do love the second look with the orange skirt. xoxo jillian:: cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteI like it better w/ the skirt because no way on this earth would I look good in those shorts! I would try to pull it off at a street fair or something! Cute!

Totally love this but with much cuter jeans! This is something I would have worn in college and seeing that was some years ago I will not be rocking it anytime soon!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love it if it were a full length strapless top...I'm not a huge fan of the midriff baring unless you're at the beach or on a board walk! I love the idea of a great big bow though, very cute in theory.
ReplyDeleteNot seeing the appeal of this one even pre-baby tummy, but I'm with you on working on the toned stomach and tan!
ReplyDeleteI would totally rock this as a bathing suit, but I am not brave enough to wear this as an everyday shirt. I think this look is more suited for editorial purposes than an everyday look, unless you are a supermodel.
ReplyDeleteI'll rock it maybe at the beach or by the pool. It's a cute look.
ReplyDeleteohhhh- i'm not sure! cute in theory, but don't think i could pull it off anymore! totally reminds me of the 90's ♥
ReplyDeleteI wanna be eighteen again! Just to wear this bandeau!

(5 pounds from now) I would TOTALLY rock this!! Where do I buy one? This is so cute.
ReplyDeleteGreat inspiration :)

Thank you for stating the top pic is only appropriate for a teen!
ReplyDeleteI love the second pic, especially with a silky kimono kinda flowy jacket
would be really cool.
Love the high waisted short or pant with it makes it less trashy and more sophisticated.

the top photo is a bit too bare, but I think with a higher rise maxi skirt, it could be cute.
ReplyDeleteI love that in HS I would rock a baby-tee without thinking twice! I think with a big waisted skirt the top would totally work, anything above the belly button actually...

I personally could not rock it...in my younger days yes! Could be a very cute look for my niece who is 20 .. SHE would rock it! Those shorts in the first pic..YIKES!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute, but not for my DDD cup! LOL!
ReplyDeleteCould not agree more on the ditch the shorts.....but that still wouldn't help me. Love the bow look but there better be some extra yardage below it or it just won't be a pretty sight!
ReplyDeleteThis is so very adorable!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO cute! I'd wear it with a maxi skirt.
ReplyDeletehmm... i'm not sure i'd rock it or knock it! :) love the bow. not sure i could pull it off but its very Kelly Kapowski-esque... who was totally a 90s style icon. :)
ReplyDeleteSee...I love the color combinations you show on these shots!!! franki
ReplyDeleteI actually want to rock this sooooo much! I'm thinking with a high waisted skirt though. Absolutely no belly button showing. Maybe a light cotton with some volume that hits just below the knee. Then, wedges and a floppy hat.
ReplyDeleteDoes this shirt exist? Does anyone know where to find it?
I'd love to take this top on my upcoming island vacation - that's probably the only place I'd feel comfortable wearing it. But I do adore the look!
ReplyDeleteOn spring break in college, I once rocked a Jack Daniels handkerchief folded in half as a tube top! This is a bit more elegant :) I say, why not?!!
ReplyDeleteCute in the photograph...but in the real world, don't think I'd be comfortable with inviting men (and probably women too!) to blatantly stare at my chest. How about around the house to make housecleaning more fun?
ReplyDeleteCan you please tell me where I can find this top...I LOVE it!!!
