Thanks to the lovely Cassandra for asking me to guest post while she indulges in a fantastic vacation! Speaking of vacation, what is better than a boutique hotel off of the beaten path? And even better then that, what could be more amazing then staying at a boutique hotel in Portugal?? Ladies and Gents, I introduce you to Hotel Favorita.
Located in the heart of Portugal, this breathtaking getaway is actually a remodeled home, creating a cozy, seven room hotel decorated by the amazing Sam Baron. What attracts me to this space is the character of the rooms. There are layers and layers of molding and architectural details. Sam did an excellent job not over decorating the rooms but keeping them simple yet beautiful.
Two things that take my breath away in this photo is that tile and the beautiful pendant light. Such a great corner to eat breakfast or drink your morning coffee.
This bunk-room would be perfect for a small family or older kids.
The art is so simple yet makes such a statement along with the light and pillowcase, and pretty petite flowers are just the right homey touch.
I could see myself lounging in here for a bit after a long day strolling through town!
So, have I convinced you yet? You might want to re-consider those future traveling plans to include the beautiful Portugal. Adeus!

ReplyDeleteWe went to Portugal last year and it was wonderful! Nicest people in the world. We spent most of our time in Lisbon. Can't wait to get back and see some of the other cities some day.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a super cute and quant place to stay. If I ever go to Portugal I will definitely have to check out this hotel.
