Those much braver than me have been dip-dyeing the tips of their hair with fanciful colors like pink and purple. Cristina from Fuji Files here, and I think I'll be opting for the commitment-free route of donning the new dip dye trend on my clothes instead!
Dip dye is the new chic version of tie dye, and my favorite incarnation of this trend are the pieces that fade into a deep inky blue. I love the look so much I'm even tempted dip dye my own skirt or top, it appears to be a beginner-friendly diy (for those of us who lack sewing skills)!
I've always reserved anything in the tie-dye family for beach outings and swimsuit cover-ups, but our street style inspiration shows us that this look can be far more versatile when styled correctly. I'm picturing wearing this look to brunch on a sunny Saturday, followed by flea markets where I find the antique table of my dreams (there goes my imagination). Where would you wear your dip dye?
