POM SPRINGS

When people talk about the Seattle rain, they tend to exaggerate. On days like this, however, it feels like one big long miserably gray misty rainy never ending day. What's a girl to do? Hunker in, make some tea, get loads of work done... and dream of sunshine!

You may have noticed my selections for the pom-pom page in last issue of Rue. Well, when pulling it together I was mostly inspired by the black+white pom possibilities (surprise surprise) and knew I'd have to do a little post on them. A sophisticated palette plus a playful trim is right up my alley! It reminded me so of the Viceroy Palm Springs that I added yellow stripes in for good measure and called this rainy-day fantasy done and done!

  4. Black/yellow/white makes a great combo. Whenever I think of Seattle rain I think of Frasier which makes me wish I lived in Seattle. Good excuse to purchase some stylish umbrellas.
