When I started telling people I was heading to San Francisco a couple weeks ago to visit Method headquarters, I had one consistent response: "Oh, I love Method!". Really? When was the last time you heard someone say that about a cleaning product? Or cleaning in general?
Now me, I'm a clean freak. Cleaning is my therapy. So when I get down to scrubbing, I certainly don't want to do it with chemicals stinging my eyes and nose, so harsh you have to air out the whole house to get rid of the 'scent'. Nope. I want effective, eco (and people) friendly products that smell delicious, are safe enough to eat off of and stylish enough to sit out on the counter. I mean, how often do we see a company get things this right?
As co-founders Eric Ryan and Adam Lowry pointed out during our super informative and fun Method Summit, it's ridiculous to pollute as you clean. Plus who doesn't like a rainbow of colors and well-designed products to choose from?
So to help spread the word (and the love), Method is teaming up with an amazing group of bloggers (dubbed the Method Mavens) to bring you clean and happy thoughts for months to come. And we're kicking things off with this little piece of awesomeness. This is our anthem. Get your damn hands up.
The coolest part of that video is that every person in it is a Method employee. Except this guy...
Meet Noah. We adore him. He's a little Flight of the Concords meets Zach Galifianakis, but in his own really crazy, borderline creepy way (as Method says, they like to keep things weird). So keep your eyes open for more good times with him in the next few months! And in the meantime...
Oh! And if you're itching for your own mini Method Mavens getaway, enter the contest on the Method Facebook page for a chance to win a year's supply of product (yes please) and a trip to their San Francisco headquarters. Sweet!

*this post is part of a paid-for campaign with method. all thoughts and opinions are my own. man, i really love this stuff.
okay, I do love Method, but I am mad at them for changing things up too much. They discontinued my all time favorite cleaning product and relaunched it in anitbacterial or lavender.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't companies leave well enough alone.
I am allergic to all things antibacterial so now I am forced to go back to using chemical filled products :(
Amy
Hmmm.. If you're talking about the surface cleaner they still have that in non antibacterial. The all purpose cleaner works on every surface...if that's not what you're looking for I'd shoot them an email. They're pretty helpful!
DeleteI HEART Method. I am actually doing a giveaway of their products on my blog. Go here:

not sure what I love more from method, the bottles or the actual products! lol
ReplyDeleteThis is really awesome and I would LOVE to win that prize....but I have to say that it sucks that you have to be on Facebook to win anything these days. I know that's not your fault. It just makes me sad. :(
ReplyDeleteLove Method products, especially the Daily Granite.
ReplyDeleteI love Method products! Their granite countertop cleaner is my favorite. :-)

Nice photos, Method headquarters look fun. I've always liked Method's clean, simple packaging, although I find their gel hand wash dried my hands. On the other hand, I couldn't live without the Good for Wood surface wipes.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I think the laundry detergent, and dish soaps that come in the pump bottles, so you know exactly how much you need to use are genius, and save so much money! 4 pumps for a load of laundry!
