My absolute favorite coat in my closet is a perfect berry red. I'm fairly certain I purchased it around ten years ago... which means it's well past time for a new one. A classic red coat instantly makes any outfit feel a little more chic, don't you think?
Lucky for me, there are plenty of options out there this season (so glad red is back!) In fact, I've found so many that I can't decide! All I know is I love a classic tailored look...
Do you have a favorite? I'm slightly in love with the miu miu myself (of course it's sold out), and the prada is a similar red to what I have now. Then again, the classic tailoring of the j.crew option is so lovely...

I've always wanted a red coat...I actually real like the ASOS one!
ReplyDeletelike it very much

I love the Prada one for the details and that shade of red.
ReplyDeleteI'd love one of those in a dark raspberry colour. I love the red & I'm a little jealous on brunettes that red looks great on.
ReplyDeleteThe Milly coat is so classic and chic. Must get a red coat for the winter - you are spot on with this one!
ReplyDeleteThe red coats are just fabulous!

I love the red - so chic! It's so easy to get caught up in wanting a coat to "match everything" and going with black. I'm not sure if I'm feisty enough for red, but I think I may try navy this year... ♥
ReplyDeleteI have had my eye on a couple red coats, really want one! Did you see Kate Middleton wore one today too?
ReplyDeleteI really love that colour!

ReplyDeleteOH I LOVE red! I used to have a bright red coat I loved! My favorite is definitely the J Crew. I think it might be the pockets.
ReplyDeletei bought a lovely red coat a couple of winters ago. although, i have to admit i feel like it's an addition getter. and i slightly feel like the queen of hearts sometimes. haha. probably because it has a large ruffle collar. i still adore it though.
ReplyDeleteI really love bright color. The red coat is gorgeous color. I wish I had one for Fall.
ReplyDeleteI also want a RED coat so badly!!!! Today I am wearing one like the 3rd photo on the first row(a classic cut), but in brown...Red is my favorite colour, but I always hesitate in coats....
ReplyDeletelovely options you've got there!!!

Ror You the richer berry red would be delicious!
ReplyDeleteI have a 6-year old red coat from Barneys CO-OP that I found at the Outlet - peter pan collar - fire engine red (similar lines to the J.Crew one you've picked). I like the deeper red of the Milly one - and the length of the Miu Miu!
ReplyDeleteI can't decide between the Asos or the J. Crew -- both great options!
ReplyDeleteI bought a red pea-coat two years ago and it's absolutely darling! You can get lost in the crowd always wearing black/grey jackets ~jen
