Skulls and other curiosity-inspired decor always seem to pop up this time of year, but if I'm going to be adding any of these pieces to my own home, I'd rather they be a little more permanent... and dare I say, beautiful?
Like these pieces from the etsy shop EarthSeaWarrior that are way more unique than the things you're going find in the local party store.
Even if it's just a perky little plant rooted in crystal, I'll gladly add it to my collection.
Would you?
Good Morning! We walked by a fascinating art/home decor store on 1st Avenue in Seattle, I think it might have been right next door to Watson Kennedy,(one of my all time favorite stores!) and they had some incredible decorated porcelain skulls and artwork. If you get a chance, go check them out! Sorry that I can't remember the name of the store....
I actually think the 3rd one would be totally cool as a Halloween centerpiece~ way better than the orange and black stuff at party stores. And, bonus is you can recycle it and use it year after year. :)
those are so incredibly gorgeous! i always love curiosities, but honestly if you get the genuine ones they smell bad a lot of the time. gotta go check out this etsy shop right now!
commenting is not a place for: pitching products and giveaways, promoting your business, or being mean. commenting is for words like: eeeeek! aaaahhh! oooooh! thank you for your thoughtful comments and conversation!
These are such interesting pieces!
ReplyDeletewow these are really lovely...in a strange sort of way! I love them.
ReplyDeleteNah... not for me! :-)
ReplyDeleteOk.. the first one would be a chic halloween accent, but it would be gone after that! :-)
Have a great day!

I don't think I could do any of these things justice in my home...they would get lost in the shuffle! The opposite of what you want from a curiosity!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting and surely unique. Not sure if I would add them to my interior, though I am sure there are ways to make it looks exquisite.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day.
