THE GOODY BAG: MILLION DOLLAR BOOK SIGNING

It's Alissa from The Goods Design, back with another Goody Bag, sharing LA's best interior design events. It's been a slow few months here on the design party scene, so it was exciting to get back into the action with a bang! Tuesday night is not usually a big social night, but when Martyn Lawrence-Bullard (of Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators fame) is signing his new design book at the prettiest rug store in town, the people come.

The fete was co-hosted by The Rug Company and One King's Lane and between the gorgeous showroom, the delicious treats and the fabulous company, it was a perfect way to get back into the swing of interior design parties.

Lawrence-Bullard's Mamounia Rug for the Rug Company was on display (you can see it in the photos above, in both blue and rust red.) I absolutely love its exotic vibe. It has a Moroccan feel to it, but can really work in any style interior.

But the main reason for coming together to celebrate was his design book, Live, Love & Decorate. Major eye candy.

The man himself was there autographing books late into the night.

All in all, a fabulous night. The party was just delicious (as Martyn would say!)
