After weeks of travel, it's been nice to have time at home with friends - even nicer? The crisp fall sunshine and an excuse to throw on some boots and get outside...

Today we're piling friends and kids into the car and heading north for some apple picking! What could be more fall? Maybe some apple pie this weekend made from the fruits of our labor? A definitely possibility. Who's got apple recipes to share?

    Hmmm...apple recipe? Core the apple, fill with a mixture of soft goat cheese and cumin, top with a prune and maybe some honey, bake. I just made that up but it sounds good doesn't it? :)

    I think that you should have a raffle for that green sweater--think of all of the money you could make for your favorite cause--because obviously we all want it!

    Ooooh, I love apple picking! I'm jealous because it's pouring here in Boston and I haven't gotten to an orchard once yet this fall....gotta make that happen soon.

    Anyway, I love the cute, casual look you found and would love to be wearing it right now. I am coveting skinny cords but have not found any pairs that are flattering on me (not too tight or saggy in the butt, the right amount of stretch, etc.) Anybody had any luck? I would be so grateful to hear! Thank you! And sorry to get so OT from the apples :)
