Whenever I go on trips, I like to pack clothes in a similar palette so that I know I can mix and match pieces as I go. I'm just beginning to think about what to bring to Italy with me - but two weeks is a much longer time than a long weekend to consider just one color scheme! Which is why I may be taking some serious inspiration from this editorial as I select my wardrobe...
I love the mix of rich jewel tones with softer pastels and nudes - there's tons of color, and endless options of ways to mix them all. The hardest part may be what hue to choose for my mani pedi!

Love this board! I was JUST thinking of coloring my nails an off white. I think it would go well with these outfits or a peachy/pink. Great colors!

Oh how fun, love packing for trips! My secret: those bags that suck the air out and I pretty much put all my favorite clothes! The most challenge is to decide which shoes to bring... Wow 2 weeks in Italy sounds amazing, enjoy every bit of it!

ReplyDeleteI'd say paint your nails a light teal color and it will be that extra pop of color to your outfits!! I know it's a bit bold/different but I know you're all about that so you can definitely pull it off!!

ReplyDeletedrew, i also really like that idea... i'm worried about a strong color on my nails because i always manage to mess them up! but was thinking a punchy neon coral or teal... depending on what makes it in the suitcase.
I think this is a perfect palette for Italy! The colors are soft and romantic, while still packing a little punch!
ReplyDeleteYes! I totally do this to! I have to have 1 color scheme when I go on vacations. Its funny, now I look back on pictures and I know it was taken in Hawaii because I only packed yellows, greens and turquoises. Ha!
