LIONS AND DINING ROOM CHAIRS, OH MY...

This table deserves a fiesty roar...

I'm dying over the intricate lion-head (and feet!) legs. And the complimenting modern chairs are almost perfect - I would have gone with something even more simple (maybe armless?) to really let the table shine. It's so good in this clean, all-white space.

  2. While the Leo in me needs to love this table, I am not totally sold. BUT I do like how the designer allows the simplicity of the room to emphasize the intricately carved table legs! Like you, I would definitely aim for even lighter chairs...clear ones perhaps?

    Have a great week C!

  8. RAWR! that table is one of the best i've seen in a long ol' time. chairs gotta go though. Just too ikea-looking with the brave table. Maybe the ghost chair would be a better fit, wouldn't obscure the table but is still stylish.

  9. I love that table, in fact I have that table in an 8 foot version. 12 years ago when my husband made me move South from my beloved East Coast I let him bribe me with it. We scored the table from ABC Home and it took over a year to finally get it delivered to our new home in Texas well worth it. My room is a little more traditional, I have simple white linen slipcovers over antique maple cane back chairs.

What a truly beautiful room!love your blog.
