I remember putting little daisy chains together as a kid, which makes me a bit enchanted by the sweetness of this look... although really, it's only appropriate for photo shoot or vacation moments (as opposed to rockin' this look on the city streets).
I do however, really love this interpretation the best...

This, I can do! It's totally inspiring me to scheme up some flowery fete just to have an excuse to try and make my own. Perhaps a garden party with my girlfriends where we all make each other crowns of roses, sip champagne, and gaze on this centerpiece?

reminds me of the Mumford & Sons lyric "with grace in her heart and flowers in her hair..." :)
ReplyDeleteAh, you reminded me of the ceramic baby head, succulent planters... by Mudpuppy on etsy.

Cheers!
Oh I LOVE the top right photo! So ethereal. Reminds of my wedding, I didn't wear a halo, but I had a wild piece of greenery going on in my wavy hair, and my flower girls were totally boho chic. Loved it.

These photos are so gorgeous and ethereal! I am totally loving the sweet, innocent vibe that they give off. I definitely wouldn't try it as a part of street style though. Amazing!

You should totally make one and do a photoshoot. ;) Would be so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI've noticed this flowery trend as well, topped off with tons of braids. I love it all and only wish I could braid my own hair that well. :( But flowers.... I can do flowers!

In my country there is a tradition still alive for women to make such headpeaces and wear them during the midsummer's night celebration. Also when there is a great choir singing festival, these are common.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! We get lots of brides who opt for spray roses or stephanotis flowers for use in the hair during their weddings.
