Hello dear readers, Crissie (from bug&Bear) here! It's been a hectic week, so today I'm here to remind you of the simple joys in life. The first warm sunny day of spring, a soft gentle breeze drifting through an open window, cool creamy desserts on the most humid of days, and classic colors that will absolutely never go out of style...
Sort of like sweet creamy neutrals and bright bold reds!
So simple, but so so perfect. Now, take a big, deep breath and pause (just for a second) to smile at the little things that make a big difference!

ReplyDeleteLoving those shoes.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet and short post. My simple joy everyday is my first cup of coffee before everyone in my house wakes up.
Can y'all just dress me every day? Please? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with that china - the red mug and the cute bowl with the light blue rim. Where can I find those? They look a little bit Anthropologie-esque to me!
ReplyDeleteAnd that ice cream looks incredible!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder! That ice-cream looks amazing!
ReplyDeletelately i've seen a number of lovely blogs, yours included, showcasing the photo's colour palette with colour rectangles like you do in this post. is there a program/website that breaks the colour palette down like this, or do you guys all do that manually? just curious, because although i don't blog myself, i love colour combinations and it would be really wonderful if i could figure out the key colours in the pictures i stumble upon online.
ReplyDeletethe red is so bold against the khaki..which makes for a great color combination...

So very pretty! I used to think that I was allergic to the color red when I was little, because I had a red sweater... and every time I wore it... it would make me itch! I actually think it had more to do with the material of the sweater than the color :o) Haha!
ReplyDeleteI never thought I would like red, but those shoes are amazing and I would wear them with anything.
