With all this talk of spring and outdoors, I'm getting excited for a little patio redecorating and outdoor entertaining! I've been scouting some options and have to say that Pier 1 actually has some really excellent outdoor furniture for every style.

ReplyDelete* I was just THERE two days ago (!), & bought just a WAD of outdoor lumbar pillows n' such, & a few other accents, in orange & bright blue, like our magnificent sunsets here in the desert(!)... (A huge patio & pool area is sooo nice, BUT, it DOES require LOTS of pillows, & I felt "sort of GUILTY" for all I bought! ~ Then again, THAT'LL teach my sweetie to travel farther away to new places to place golf for a few days!!! "Even Steven", so to s peak?!?!?! Grins!!)...).
ReplyDeleteANYHOOOO, all the actual "furniture" out there is great (cream-based), & I TOTALLY deviated from my "usual" annual update of a rather "sophisticatedly subdued" look to "HAPPY n' BRIGHT" for once, and I... LOVE... IT...!!! And that rather surprized me, and I was SHOCKED that my sweet husband likes it alot too!...
I left wanting to finish it all off with a few brightly colored garden stools to sort of tie it all in, but didn't. And THAT'S what I would buy if I won... and their ceramic garden stools are just wonderful... fun, relatively easy to move and very well-priced!

This is fantastic I do need to redo my back yard, so many choices but my eye is drawn toward the bright and vibrant stackable chairs and I am in love with the dragonfly and butterfly pillar candles... I do need a floor lamp for my master bedroom which I just modernized and some baskets for my bathroom, so many wonderful choices! Hope I am a lucky winner :)

ReplyDeleteSet #1 is the one I like the best. I have plenty of seating, but nothing that would allow two people to sit side by side. My umbrella didn't have a good autumn and needs to be replaced.
Ironically, I found to wrought-iron stand things over the winter that someone else down the street had set against their trash bin. Looking at those lamps makes me realize what the stands are for - one end is sharp to penetrate the ground and after all the swirls and curls up top it ends with a hook. Probably for a plant, but those lamps would work well.

I'd want a blue & green color story... the outdoor garden stools are pretty for decoration and easy to use as side tables or extra seating, def need the coco cove wicker settee and blue metal storage tub! :)

We can't wait to decorate our patio, as it is basically our living room in our cozy little east village apartment. We plan on hosting a lot of great nights with friends out there... and Pier 1 is definitely the place to go. I LOVE the Outdoor Ciudad Corner Chair and the Armless chair. Such a classic, comfortable look. Also dreaming of the Casbah Chair!! Throw one of those gorgeous Kaeden chair cushions on there, and its the ultimate sitting machine :)

ReplyDeleteWe just moved into a new home with a 40ft porch that is just calling for the Jardin de Marie chair and side table set!! This would compliment it so much and they would be so wonderful to sit in while having a tea in the morning, or glass of vino in the evenings!
I love the red scatter daisy pillows with flange. I think they would look great on the outdoor perched bird chairs and I'd get the outdoor perched bird table to go with it!

I just bought a bunch of new outdoor pillows from Pier 1 to decorate my new screen porch! I saw so many things I'd love to add to my outdoor decor while I was there, one of which are those adorable colorful garden stools you pictured! I'm also in the market for wicker seating for my front porch! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what I would get at Pier 1 -- the Jardin de Marie Outdoor Trellis featured on the front of their current catalog. I fell in love with it immediately! $500 would cover that and a cushion to fit.
ReplyDeleteI have been dreaming of creating a calming outdoor space in our small backyard in a neighborhood where the houses are close together. A busy working Mom like me, needs such a space. This trellis, with a bench seat and artistic details in the metal work, is simply perfect!
