I have always adored the lightness of this room - the way the chairs' thin lines combine with the lucite table makes it feel like there's hardly any furniture at all! The white chandelier almost disappears into the ceiling, and the simply trimmed shades add just the right touch of detail.
If you see the adjacent living room, it makes sense as to why it's all so simplistic...

Quite a bit of pattern and pops of color going on in here! Designing a space in the round can be tough, but I like how this one was done. I also love how the trim in the pillows echoes the trim on the shades! For some reason, it's not quite my style... do you prefer one space over the other other? Would you take them both? I'll stick with the dining room.

Great room of the week! I also love how whimsical and airy the dining room feels. The designer did not take any visual space, and that's amazing! The living room- maybe it's all the flowers and pillow choices that make it so different from the dining space. I go for the dining space as my first choice! :)
ReplyDeleteI have that bottom image saved as a favorite. I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteI love that dining room! The table is so great and gives a feel of lightness to the entire space. The pops of green on the table are really nice too.
ReplyDeleteAmazing dining room table and the living area is beautiful as well!

I definitely prefer the dining room. Absolutely love that lucite table. I have been on the hunt for a lucite desk in my office for a while now.
ReplyDeleteObsessed with that dining table. My future home must have me eating breakfast at it. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI love that first picture. I have seen the clear chairs but not a table! It adds such an airy feel to the space
ReplyDeleteI love them both and how they balance each other out..the second room with its overstuffed furniture and plethora of cuhions is still peaceful and it may have something to do with the color used...it works for me...lovely post cassandra..do check out my aqua themed post when you have a moment..also, thankyou for your lovely comment on my blog the other day! xx meenal

Goodness. These rooms are amazing! You're right. It seems like there is hardly any furniture in the first room at all. Genius! xo
ReplyDeleteI adore both rooms, actually. The only thing I may have done differently is used lucite for the living room coffee table, too. The puffy ottoman is the only thing throwing me off.
ReplyDeleteI really, really like that lucite table in the first picture!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteLove the second room---absolutely fab.
ReplyDeleteloving the contrast between the lucite dining table and the retro, cane back chairs!! and what a lovely soft wall color! it's pink, but not PINK!!
ReplyDeleteThe dining room is my favorite space simply because it reminds me of the breakfast nook at my childhood best friend's Grandmother's home. The light peach, the spacious white, and the light coming through the windows are perfection.
