TIE ONE ON

After spending hours last night on Pinterest and hopping through other inspirational sites, I rediscovered a few things... one being the fact that some of the best pocket change you'll ever spend is on a little length of black ribbon...

Personally I prefer double-faced satin, but any pretty texture will do...

    Satin certainly is beautiful but I find it's too slippery to get a good enough grip when it comes to a bow. It always slides apart. The chiffon looking ribbon here is a great idea!

    I love grosgrain ribbon as it tends to stay in place better. A black ribbon always lends an elegance to things whether it be an outfit, hat, lampshade - anything really.

    I love black ribbon too and have seen some pretty wedding dresses with ribbons around the waist. I love them as hair ties. :)
