The return of retro styling is bound to have all sort of impacts on trends these days (for better or worse), but one I can I can absolutely deal with is a resurfacing of palettes like this...

    These remind me of all the gorgeous colors I saw in 'Mad Men'( season 3) last night!!I actually took a couple of pictures off the T.V. to use for a 'mad men' inspired post which i'll be doing next week...I always love your picks Cassandra...and once again...love the fact that you put color chips under the images....my favorite detail!!     I just saw a wonderful play set in the late 50's/early 60's and the women wore such luxurious silk evening suits with big rhinestone buttons and dyed peau de soie pumps to match. It so reminded me of being a little girl and watching as my mother got dressed to go out.
