Especially if the nook happens to be a sweet little bedroom in quiet lavender... or a teeny little corner (just my size!) with a fireplace nearby!

A cozy little sofa in a very chic setting... or sipping coffee on this sweet settee that . *sigh*... instead I'm off to brave the elements with visions of nooks and blankets to get me through a dreary little day!

Cassandra, I used to live in Vancouver and you might know the weather is pretty similar to Seattle's. Now I live on the East Coast and I wish I had rain, instead of crazy cold and snow. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all these comfortable spaces. They beautiful!
Have a Great Day!

ReplyDeleteI'm with you and would love to curl up in a cozy nook! Hasn't it just been miserable? Monday was a monsoon! I'm looking at the camellia blossoms and the growing buds on the magnolia tree to convince myself that spring is around the corner. Seems a million miles away!

ReplyDeleteMuch love,

The lavender nook makes my heart stop, and I absolutely adore the bookshelves at the foot of the bed. So so so perfect!
ReplyDeleteThe white space is incredible! I'm aching to do some interior re-decorating!!
ReplyDeleteI'll take the white nook on the top, please! It's be raining a lot in the bay area too, and curling up in one of those nooks sounds perfect! Hope your dreary day is brighter, thinking of these happy little places
ReplyDeleteStunning spaces!!! I love that little one beside the fireplace, so cute!! The weather here is definitely not ideal, but rather fitting of my mood lately as I study for midterms...
ReplyDeleteRecently saw a new restaurant opening on Broadway that had lime green columns in a natural wooden setting. Was a nice contrast.

I've always loved the idea of using a nook / sleeping berth as guest room. Why dedicate an entire room to someone that's at your house a week out of the year. A nook in an office or other room does just fine!
ReplyDeleteAhhh! Nooks are made for reading on a rainy day -- so cozy. Wishing you more pleasant weather :) Until then, stick to the nook!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Fabulous Nooks....
ReplyDeleteCheck this darling little space out! It's my FAV by far.
