NOOKIE

The weather here in Seattle the last few days has been miserable - rain, wind, and now possibly a little slushy snow to add to the mix. In other words, the perfect kind of weather for snuggling into a little nook with a big 'ol blanket and hibernating for a few days... bedroom+nook
Especially if the nook happens to be a sweet little bedroom in quiet lavender... or a teeny little corner (just my size!) with a fireplace nearby!
settee+nook
A cozy little sofa in a very chic setting... or sipping coffee on this sweet settee that . *sigh*... instead I'm off to brave the elements with visions of nooks and blankets to get me through a dreary little day!

  1. Cassandra, I used to live in Vancouver and you might know the weather is pretty similar to Seattle's. Now I live on the East Coast and I wish I had rain, instead of crazy cold and snow. :-)

I love seeing all these comfortable spaces. They beautiful!

    Have a Great Day!

  10. I'm with you and would love to curl up in a cozy nook! Hasn't it just been miserable? Monday was a monsoon! I'm looking at the camellia blossoms and the growing buds on the magnolia tree to convince myself that spring is around the corner. Seems a million miles away!

  17. Stunning spaces!!! I love that little one beside the fireplace, so cute!! The weather here is definitely not ideal, but rather fitting of my mood lately as I study for midterms...

  18. Recently saw a new restaurant opening on Broadway that had lime green columns in a natural wooden setting. Was a nice contrast.

  19. I've always loved the idea of using a nook / sleeping berth as guest room. Why dedicate an entire room to someone that's at your house a week out of the year. A nook in an office or other room does just fine!
