I'm such a sucker for antique pieces in light-filled lofts. It's the perfect setting to mix and match eras of furniture! Combining florals, tartan and stripes add perfectly to the eclectic vibe.

And how about the dining room? (And by dining room, I mean bar!). That huge built-in looks like it belongs in a restaurant... or in my home since I have a serious addiction to collecting tabletop goodies like dishes and glassware. I might opt for some comfier chairs though... rolling around in those things after a few glasses of wine might be dangerous! (Or highly entertaining!)

I love exposed brick in a room. It does wonders. And I am loving the whitewashed brick - love how it lightens a room up, but still adds the amazing texture brick brings to a wall.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,

I love brick! The plaid pillows are perfect, and the bar is amazing.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Crystal.

that floral couch in the first pic is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love the color combination in both rooms and the mix of vintage and new. Really great undecorated look!
ReplyDeletebeautiful..I've always wanted a brick fireplace I could whitewash, but now I'm adding walls to the plan ;)
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I could whitewash the bricks since white to me just seems so sterile but I definitely love the texture of exposed brick and also the bright spots of colors in both rooms. This is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the feel of the first picture. I can imagine having a cup of coffee and just hitting the books!
ReplyDeleteseriously fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThese spaces are so cute and eclecticly delicious! Love the exposed brick, but I'm with you on the rolling chairs. And with a bar like that, who isn't having a drink?
ReplyDeleteWow, I love the dining area way too much. There is beautiful old charm in it that is so inviting. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh, white brick! I love it - always reminds me of New York City...a very good thing!

i love the white brick but i love those chairs! the rolling aspect might be a little dangerous I agree!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, that floral couch pulled my heartstrings. I have a similar-shaped couch from my grandmother languishing in the basement. It's in desperate need of upholstering, and now you're going and giving me ideas . . .
ReplyDeleteLove the exposed brick and sleek design.

ReplyDeleteI agree that bar is amazing! But I am with you, the dining chairs need to be a we bit more plush! Have a great holiday!
ReplyDeleteEspecially with that exposed brick ceiling...can you say genius?! I love how urban the space seems but together with traditional furnishings and classic french doors...I LOVE! Great find! Happy Holidays Cassandra!
