ROOM OF THE WEEK 8.12

Dreaming of a little corner space to call my own in the house where I can take full advantage of the remaining summer light while I do work...

This should pretty much do it. My most favorite piece of this room (besides that huge window) has to be the brass detail on the little table! Such a perfect mix of natural+glam. I also love the addition of that table lamp to the stool for extra light when the sun goes down! I could happily move right into this little corner with my loads of design books and mags to fill those shelves. And in the winter, I'll throw down a soft, fuzzy rug to keep my toes warm. Perfection.

  1. I also love how the table/desk is angled - subtle & genius.

  2. Love your ideas for this space. And the table lamp is a perfect addition for working late into the night.

  3. Loving this room, too! My own bookshelf needs some serious designing. They're cram-packed with so many reads and it's time to organize and design! A friend mentioned sorting books by shades and design could be a good idea to make it look neat and crisp. Any suggestions for a messy bookshelf in need of some serious help?

  5. And I love that pictures hung at the cross-section of the bookshelf. I keep seeing people doing that and it looks so eclectic and cool.
