HOUSE TOUR: ARTFULLY ENCHANTED

If there's one thing I enjoy seeing in other people's homes it's their choice in artwork. Art is so personal and unique that it's the one thing that doesn't always have to relate perfectly to the room. So, when I stumbled up on the home of designer Eric Cohler (as featured on New York Social Diary a few weeks ago) I nearly died...

Can you imagine walking into all these walls - and windows(!) - of so many beautifully selected pieces on top of this gorgeous interior?

... And that's just the living room! (Notice the cute little library corner too?). As if that wasn't enough there's also this cozy escape...

The richness here makes it such a lovely contrast to the rest of the home, but it still has that same collective feel. If it were all my own, I'm not sure I'd ever need to leave!

  9. Beautiful Art! I love how he even treated the window as a wall and hung art in front of it. Great solution for such an extensive collection.

  10. Wow, this certainly gives me some new inspiration on how to create beautiful picturewalls in my home. Maybe not with those lighting installations behind, but maybe in the way displayed over the console table right next to the little library corner. The console table itself is oh so beautiful. I wonder where I have seen that before?!

  13. Loved the room with the orange sofa. Stunning. But the second space with the green sofa seems a bit overdone and cluttered. Also if I was sitting in the middle of that couch I'm not sure I'd love where my head would be(re:artwork above).
