Cozying Down

My toes feel like they're about to fall off, and it's only 65 degrees. What's a California girl to do back in Seattle? Get some furry goodness going, that's what!

In the office... (which is currently my kitchen table and looks nothing like this!)

In the bedroom, to add a little warmth to a cool palette...

Or simply add texture to an already cozy space (on the bed AND the floor!)

And then there's my favorite... the dining room!

This is exactly how I use my sheepskin from Ikea to warm things up a bit. (And, how clever is it to put the little TV up by the picture rail so it blends a bit with the decor?)

I also thought this was an easy way to add some cozy extra seating for guests during the holidays...

You better believe I'm dragging my faux furs out of storage today and finding a way to fit them into my new home. (PS - If you're one who prefers real fur... why not at least use recycled vintage furs? Check out this etsy shop for some real cozies.)

Love it! finally a use for the big old fur coats that my granny gave me (the ones I'd love to wear but I'm a little embarrassed about!)...this is the best kind of recycling!

So cozy! Although I'm sad that open-toed sandal season is over, having fun wearing tights and little leather booties. {The little workspace looks like fun.}

I brought my PB faux-fur out over the weekend! My sphync cat is quite thankful for it and cannot stop snuggling in it, haha

Wow, those dining rooms are fantastic. The use of sheepskin is fantastic. And thanks for the mention of our little fur recycling shop!

your so welcome lindsay! i think it's a great way to reuse vintage fur pieces... i hate to see them go to landfills just because people consider fur inhumane now.

This makes the cold weather seem worth it, don't you think! I'm loving the throws on the bed, totally snuggle-worthy!

Love the remark about fake furs.."If you're one who prefers real fur... why not at least use recycled vintage furs?" even though i prefer no fur at all thats just awsome.
