I'll Have the Crab...
Um... are you serious?
When I received my weekly email from 1stDibs this morning, I almost died at the sight of this table. For $3200. I guess if you were going for a statement piece in a seaside vacation home... maybe. MAYBE. For like $100. It looks like discarded junk from a fisherman's wharf themed restaurant! But that's just my humble opinion.
Personally, if I'm going to spend $3200 on crab, I'm going to go with this bracelet from designer Antonio Palladino at Barneys.
Oh, excuse-moi. It's actually $3995. But I think it does make a better statement. Something to pass on to the grandchildren perhaps?
I think I'm going to stick with crab cakes for now, thanks. Yum.

OH MY GOD CRAB TABLE!!! I feel like I have so many things to say but I just can't get the words out. And who says you can't pass down an enormous crab table to your grandkids. All my grandkids will get from me is criticism and bourbon scented kisses
ha. that's so fisherman's wharf. but scary nightmares of it. i love just about everything at barney's btw.
oh and crabcakes. i like crabcakes.
To be honest, I wouldn't take that crab stool for free. It's just not appealing to me. ;)

The only place I can see that table fitting in is at the Crab Pot.
wow that crab table is incredible.... i mean, why!? i guess it would look great in an all-crab-you-can-eat-buffet place in the foyer... or in Michael Jackson's bathroom with his Egyptian giant cats or something, but NOWHERE else.
so speechless that there are so many things to say! :P

oh my god i love the crab comparison and i definitely agree.
ugh, i had the same thought! every now and then, when i'm feeling especially bitchy, i'll post a bunch of the "WTF!?" stuff on 1st Dibs in lieu of my weekly new listings fantasy room...
there is some seriously ugly stuff on there sometimes...
